Vintage Ohio Souvenir Money Clip
Vintage Ohio Souvenir Money Clip

This old money clip is as sturdy as the day it was new. It is made of copper, I think, but it could be brass. Anyway it is old and tarnished but it may shine up nicely if that is the look you want. It was a souvenir of Columbus Ohio with a stereotype Indian in full headdress for some reason.

Fine Square Sided Hardstone Celt
Fine Square Sided Hardstone Celt

Here is a really fine Hopewell Style Celt that should make top shelf display in any collection. The material it is made of has a high concentration of hematite and is very heavy for it’s size. This piece is extremely well made and highly polished. Under a loop you can see the fine grains of hehatite throughout but more concentrated in some areas. There is a very tiny more historic nick on the bit as seen in the photos.

3-3/4″ Flaked Blade
3-3/4″ Flaked Blade

Hafted Blade with Spokeshave
Hafted Blade with Spokeshave

Made from a large flake from near the rind of the chert nodule this unusual piece has a natural curve. The maker used that to his advantage to obtain a very thin cutting edge. It is almost unifaced with one side only having a bit of edgework. Intentional chipping made the arrow shaft size spokeshave on one edge of the blade and the heavy patina matches the rest of the piece.
