This is a drill that that was not salvaged from an arrowhead so its’ age is hard to determine. It has patina and shows signs of use.

This type of drill is hard to date because this type was made throughout Native American history. They are 2-1/8″ and 1-3/4″ Both were found in the same field in the 1970’s.
This is a well made unusual style drill that shows dulling and smoothing from use wear.
This Scottsbluff style base drill shows some great use wear with the tip being very smooth and worn down.
This is a great little perforator / awl / drill It has a fine needle tip and a flared base for an easy grip. These are hard to date as they were used throughout Native American history.
This drill was purchased at a relic show as part of a collection. It along with all of the other points in the group appear to be both old and authentic. It was well made of high quality material with nice patina.
This drill was repurposed from an Adena stemmed point in ancient times. It has a great shape and shows nice use wear.
This is a beauty. Long, thin and very fragile. It is a wonder this survived the farm equipment.
This is a Hornstone pencil drill. It’s hard to tell the age of drills without it having a base from a repurposed arrowhead. Drills were used throughout prehistory. This one is very well made and would probably fall into the Archaic time period. It shows some smoothing from use at one end.
