This point was with a group of artifacts purchased at a farm auction near Mattoon Illinois in the early 70’s. All of the other pieces were good and I have no doubt that this one is also old and authentic.

This is a high quality well made point.
A solid well made point with a nice two tone white chert.
This point has has been anciently resharpened in a very unusual way. It was chipped and then ground smooth.
A very well made point with a thinned basal area (almost fluted) and nice patina.
This is a fine specimen. It has diagonal flaking, flutes on both sides, two-toned material and a super ground basal area.
This is a beautiful point in great shape. It is highly beveled, has a ground base and is nicely serrated.
This is a good example of a Woodland period Point.
This interesting Paleo point is fluted on both sides and it appears to have been anciently resharpened, beveled and notched for hafting.
