This axe has a lot of patina. It is well made with a flair at the groove and slightly fluted on the bottom. It had a brush with some farm equipment but survived with only minor scratches.

This highly polished axe has had a brush with a plow but it is still very intact. It’s bit is sharp and has a distinctive ‘X’ on one side. (It was facing up when I found it. I remember thinking “X marks the spot!”)
Very smooth from usage on the bottom.
This axe shows a bit of nice ancient use wear on the butt. It has great polish and shape and is a very collectible little axe.
This is an excellent example of ancient recycling. This ax had been broken or just worn down at the groove and then re-grooved and re-used. It has a very sharp bit. It shows a lot of use wear also.
This is a well shaped and slightly polished miniature slate celt. It has beautiful patina and shows some signs of usage.
This is an unusual pestle for southern Indiana. It shows a great degree of polish from extensive use.
This is just a nice small no frills axe made to do a job.
This is a very well polished small axe that has impact fractures on both ends from obvious use. It was used after the damage also. That gives it character and a story.
