This axe has a lot of patina. It is well made with a flair at the groove and slightly fluted on the bottom. It had a brush with some farm equipment but survived with only minor scratches.

3/4 Grooved Axe
Harrison County, Indiana
A full grooved axe head made of a greenish conglomerate hard stone. Nice patina throughout and in great shape. Small blade may be due to ancient re-sharpening.
A nice collection of various styles of Midwest arrowheads. Your chance to own a piece of American history at a great delivered price.
Fluted on one side with an ancient impact fracture at the tip.
Not a lot of work went into making this but it does show impact fractures on both ends from being used as a notched and hafted tomahawk rather than a net weight.
This is an unusual pestle for southern Indiana. It shows a great degree of polish from extensive use.
Flaked and notched axe/war club.
This is a better collection of arrowheads of various styles that were recycled into scrapers. They were hafted onto handles for use in scraping hides, woodworking, scaling fish etc. They range in size from 1-3/4″ to 1″.
This is a very well made and nicely polished axe. It has a couple small usage nicks on the bit but shows wear on them after that.
